We often use dictionaries to learn the meaning of new words. Akdem
Turkish Picture dictionary is a little different … Its purpose is to give you
basic words according to the basic topics and themes you will need
while learning Turkish. This dictionary consists of 16 themes. Each word
is described with carefully selected pictures, and the dictionary consists
of about 2500 words. At the end of each theme there are frequently
used sentences and phrases. Themes of the dictionary: everyday conversations,
people, home, food and drinks, clothes, cities, transport, business,
communication, education, plants, animals, sports and hobbies,
Islam, basic verbs, adjectives.
