This work is an original study based on Imam Omar al-Nasafī’s famous text Risālat al-‘Aqāid, combining Arabic language education with the teaching of Islamic sciences. This classical text, which has been taught for centuries from Ottoman madrasas to Al-Azhar University, presents the fundamental topics of Islamic creed in a clear and instructive style.
The book divides the text into six teaching units and a total of eighteen lessons, offering a structured learning process. Each lesson includes the main text, vocabulary explanations, comprehension activities, grammar notes, and various exercises. It aims to develop students’ reading, writing, listening, and speaking skills while reinforcing their understanding of Islamic creed through the subjects discussed.
The topics covered include the existence and attributes of Allah, prophethood, the afterlife, signs of faith and disbelief, divine decree (qadar), angels, holy scriptures, and many other fundamental beliefs. Listening activities supported by audio recordings help strengthen pronunciation and comprehension skills.
