The Ebced Arabic Teaching Series is a comprehensive four-level resource designed to teach Arabic in a systematic, integrated, and effective way. Developed with contributions from academics in both Turkey and the Arab world, the series is structured according to CEFR, ACTFL, and YÖK standards. It is specifically designed for faculties of theology and Islamic studies, consisting of a total of eight books — a textbook and a workbook for each level.
One of the most distinctive features of the series is its carefully planned and meticulous approach, aimed at addressing many of the common challenges encountered in language teaching. Each level includes 12 units, covering all language skills — listening, speaking, reading, writing, morphology (ṣarf), syntax (naḥw), and spelling (imla). The unit topics are drawn from real-life contexts, and vocabulary and expressions are reinforced through meaningful repetition to ensure lasting learning.
With its visual and content design that blends classical Islamic culture with modern aesthetics, the Ebced Series enables learners to develop all language skills in one integrated set without the need for additional books. Since its first publication in 2016, the series has gone through four editions, continuously enriched and improved based on field feedback.
