QALAM Arabic Language Learning Series
The QALAM Arabic Language Learning Series is a comprehensive Arabic language program designed for children and young learners. Consisting of nine books from Pre-A1 to B2 level, the series enables students to learn Arabic systematically and progressively according to their age and language proficiency, while developing the four essential language skills: listening, speaking, reading, and writing.

In developing QALAM, high-quality language learning series used in the teaching of different languages, contemporary language teaching methods, and current educational approaches were extensively examined. This knowledge and experience were then adapted to meet the specific needs of Arabic language education.
The content is structured around everyday-life topics, age-appropriate themes, visual materials, and interactive activities that encourage active student participation.
As students progress through the levels, their vocabulary, language structures, reading materials, and communication skills develop gradually. By encountering and practicing learned vocabulary and structures in different contexts, students not only gain theoretical knowledge of Arabic but also strengthen their ability to use the language effectively in real-life situations.
In addition to the printed books, QALAM offers a rich collection of supplementary resources to support the learning process. Audio materials help students improve their listening skills and develop accurate pronunciation. Songs included in each unit reinforce vocabulary and language structures in an enjoyable and memorable way. Classroom games and activities encourage active participation and provide opportunities for students to use Arabic communicatively. The interactive smartboard application also enables teachers to present and use lesson content in a more engaging and practical way in the classroom.
At the end of each unit, a self-assessment form allows students to evaluate and monitor their individual learning progress. The series also supports teachers with practical project assignment suggestions related to each unit’s theme, which can be selected and adapted according to students’ proficiency levels.
