If you want to go beyond the textbooks and auxiliary sources written
to teach Arabic and learn Arabic from the pen of its professionals, this
book is for you.
There are also short biographical chapters about the owners of the
works in the book, which consists of a total of 12 literary texts selected
from works in the genres of short stories, theatre and poetry from
contemporary Arabic literature. In the originals of the texts, the phrases
that Arabic learners would have difficulty understanding were simplified,
and difficult words were replaced with more widely used and more
well-known ones. In this way, the aim of deepening the language with a
pleasurable reading experience for the readers who speak Arabic at the
intermediate level has been attempted to be realized.
With the exercises at the end of each text, we tried to gain / strengthen
the skills of reading comprehension, using the words and compositions
learned, to realize the subtleties of the art of speech at a basic level, and
to communicate. In addition, information on Arab culture was provided
to the extent that it was included in the texts.
